If you’ve ever set foot in ShapeCUT’s workshop in the heart of Carole Park, you’ve probably experienced a bit of a “wow” moment.

Our Profile Cutting Setup Rivals the Biggest in Australia

Thousands of tonnes of steel are held onsite – varying in grades, sizes and thickness, ranging from thin gauge 1.6mm, up to thicker gauge 300mm steel plates. We have more steel stock available in-house than Australia’s top steel merchants.

Our Large range of heavy plate

Then you see the machines – all 14 of them. Oxy, Plasma, Laser, Aluminium Routers – and that’s not counting the finishing tools. You’d be hard-pressed to find more machines in one single location anywhere else in the Southern hemisphere.

They’re maintained and operated by 60 odd team members, who work diligently to ensure our clients receive quality goods, safely and quickly.

Sparks fly as the profile cutting heads glide across the surface of the material, transforming steel and aluminium plates into different shapes and sizes.

Our professional team closely inspect their work, carefully label the parts and prepare them for delivery to our clients from all different industries.

Our aluminium router is hot off the press

Our busy dispatch team prepare the goods to be sent all along the Eastern Seaboard of Australia. We deliver to all parts of Brisbane and beyond: north into regional and remote areas, west into cow country and mine-sites, and south into the heart of NSW industry.

Expanded Workshop On the Way

Just outside the main shed sits a huge cordoned off site. It spans the length of the existing workshop, and is almost as wide.

By the start of 2022, this pile of dirt and rubble will be ShapeCUT’s brand new workshop – almost doubling our steel storage capacity, and making room for aluminium routers ranging in length: 6 metres, 12 metres and 19 metres.

There’s plenty more to be done, but you can watch the whole thing go up here.
