ShapeCUT’s Workshop Expansion in Brisbane – Almost There!
You may have heard that ShapeCUT are expanding our Brisbane workshop space. You can catch all of the updates on our dedicated Workshop Expansion page.
This build has been a mammoth effort from all involved, and our project management team Wiley have been pushing for end of 2021 completion.
It was initially projected we’d see completion by mid-November, but with the rainiest season we’ve seen in years, opening day is now looking more like mid-March 2022.
The cement floor has now been poured and she also now wears a stunning tin cap (see shot above!) – with the roof going on only a few weeks ago.
ShapeCUT’s Carole Park Workshop – Next Steps
Now we move onto the finishing touches.
We’re busy installing all the electrical lines and utilities. Shortly, our build team will paint and fully kit out the inside of the workshop. We’ve also got to finalise and equip the attached office facility with all we need to function and oversee our premium end-to-end metal processing service.
Then, once we’ve got the inside prepped, we’ll also need to transport our machinery and stock into the new facility – so it’s sure to be a mammoth start to 2022.
It’s the best Christmas present to our team and customers that we can think of!
